According to Ghaly, the project would cost more than LE18 million and include both an ambulance and an Al-Azhar institute.

Al-Masry Al-Youm was informed by Ghaly that his son will not accept any financial assistance for the undertaking. He claimed that Salah made the decision to pay for the development of both colleges out of his own cash.

Before being handed over to the Al-Azhar Directorate of the Gharbiya governorate, work is still being done on the Al-Azhar Institute.

Public figures and government representatives, including Health Minister Hala Zayed and Al-Azhar Grand Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayyeb, will be invited to the inauguration ceremony. Ghaly continued.

Salah included the construction of the Al-Azhar University as one of his objectives. The football legend’s father thought back on how hard his son had fought to fulfill his passion to serve the people of his birthplace while he was in Nagrig, where Al-Azhar students had to travel considerable distances to enroll in the institutions in neighboring cities.

Salah himself keeps track of the development of the charitable work carried out by the Mohamed Salah Charity Foundation in his birthplace and the neighborhood, according to Ghaly.

Mohamed Salah, in addition to being a fervent supporter of charity organizations, is well known as the representative of Egyptian and Arab football. The Liverpool attacker guided his squad to a great season, taking home almost every major accolade, including the 2017 BBC African Player of the Year, PFA Player of the Year, and the renowned Golden Boot. Liverpool reached the Champions League final with Salah’s help.

Egypt’s premier university, a respected mosque, and a countrywide network of more than 4,000 educational facilities are all part of the Al-Azhar complex in Cairo.
