The retired Philadelphia Eagles center floated the idea in a post on X that he might ditch his shirt
Jason Kelce is having fun with his reputation!
Hours before kickoff, the ESPN broadcaster and retired Philadelphia Eagles center shared on X that he was ready to take his shirt off at Super Bowl 2025 — in an apparent reference to his predilection for showing his chest.
Reposting a TMZ Sports query — “Super Bowl Prop Bets, Will Taylor Swift, Donna Kelce Show Cleavage?!” — Jason, 37, had jokes.
“Obviously I’m the one that’s gonna show cleavage,” the former NFL center wrote. “The bookies weren’t willing to take that loss by offering that bet.”
Both Swift and Donna are cheering on Jason’s younger brother, Travis Kelce, as he and his Kansas City Chiefs take on the Eagles. Jason previously admitted to being conflicted about where his allegiance lies during this game.
If Jason does indeed ditch his shirt, he will have to take off a few layers first.
Arriving at Caesars Superdome, the Monday Night Countdown analyst endorsed a professor-core ensemble, wearing a multi-colored houndstooth vest and brown wool herringbone jacket.
At least one person close to Jason doubts he’ll resort to past behavior.
His pregnant wife, Kylie Kelce, opened up about her personal Super Bowl predictions on the latest Not Gonna Lie podcast episode on Feb. 6 and predicted that her husband would not recreate his 2024 viral shirtless moment from the Chiefs-Bills game at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.
“I think he’s moved on from that,” she said, adding that Jason was “very much feeling the vibe of Bill’s mafia when he did that.”
The mother of three added that Jason “enjoyed the tailgate” before the game and was “being at one with the people of Buffalo when he took his shirt off” even though the moment was in celebration of the Chiefs’ victory at the time.
“My husband is very much someone who can just get down with a good fan base,” she continued. “And I think Bill’s mafia has shown that they are just a good, passionate fan base.”
On Sunday, however, Jason did remain true to his playful style — adding some Mardi Gras beads around his neck in a nod to the Super Bowl’s host city of New Orleans.
