The movie cost around $185 million and earned $168.7 million worldwide. Critics and crew blamed the post-pandemic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though the film didn’t succeed financially, Cena and Elba’s characters got a special place in fans’ hearts.

“It was a really great experience to explore. If I’m honest, it was one of the things that developed. When you read the script, you sort of see the natural rivalry between John and I and James and the natural dynamics of the whole team…….. Peacemaker and Bloodsport really pop on screen.
