On Saturday evening, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers at the Chase Center in San Francisco for their first preseason game of the year.

Before the game, Curry sent out a post on X that gained a lot of traction.

His post had over 13,000 likes and 600,000 impressions in less than 90 minutes.

Curry wrote: “Lock in! #DubNation”

Curry is coming off another unbelievable season where he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point range in 56 games.

The Warriors finished the year as the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.

They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the playoffs but lost to the Lakers in the second round (in six games).

During the postseason, Curry averaged 30.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 36.3% from the three-point range.

Curry will turn 36 during the middle of the 2023-24 season but is still among the top ten players in the NBA.

The Warriors also have one of the best rosters in the league with Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.

In addition, they acquired Chris Paul in a trade over the summer, so they now have another future Hall of Famer on the team.

Curry has spent his entire 14-year career with Golden State and has led them to four NBA Championships over the previous nine seasons.
