Nuggets vs. Thunder score, results: Nikola Jokic’s triple-double helps Denver hold off OKC
The Denver Nuggets held off a furious comeback from the Oklahoma City Thunder to seal a 122-110 win on the road.
Denver started the game with a bang, knocking down ten of their 18 3-pointers in the first quarter to build a double-digit lead and after they extended their lead to as many as 19 points, the Thunder roared back into the contest, forcing turnovers and scoring in the paint at a rapid rate.
Nikola Jokic moved up to sixth all-time in triple-doubles, passing Wilt Chamberlain with the 79th of his career, recording 15 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists in the win, while Aaron Gordon led the Nuggets in scoring with 27 points followed by Jamal Murray with 24.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued his hot start to the season, pouring in 37 points on 13-of-17 from the field and a perfect 11-of-11 at the free throw line as OKC now fall to 4-4 on the season.

We’re all square heading into the fourth quarter after the Thunder found their offensive groove, outscoring the Nuggets 38-24.
OKC has dominated in the paint, attacking the basket with little resistance. They’ve outscored Denver 62-34 in points in the paint.

9:45 p.m. — Pokuševski fakes out the defense and lays it in to give OKC their first lead of the night 93-91.
9:41 p.m. — Another steal for the Thunder, this time from Josh Giddey, intercepting Jokic’s pass. That’s 14 turnovers the Thunder have forced tonight.
9:32 p.m. — Here come the Thunder! Back-to-back buckets from Josh Giddey has them within five points. Again, it all starts on the defensive end for OKC.
9:28 p.m. — While the Nuggets have lit it up from deep, the Thunder have clawed their way back into the contest, dominating the paint. They’ve outscored the Nuggets 42-22 inside. Denver lead 71-63 with 10:17 remaining.
